Anthony Paul Scalmato is an animator and illustrator located in Cleveland, Ohio. After receiving a BFA in animation at the Cleveland Institute of Art, his thesis short film “When the World Goes Dark” went on to screen in over 30 film festivals in six different countries. The film received 15 awards including the Humanitarian Award and 2nd place animation at the Academy of Television Arts and Sciences CTA.  Anthony currently works for American Greetings as a Senior Animator creating eCards and as a freelance animator for film, television and web productions.
